Congratulations to the Hawks on their 22-0 victory last night over Marsteller. The victory capped off an undefeated season and championship. This is the first championship in school history. Keaton Simmons, Anthony Momodu, and Corin Brown led the rushing attack on offense. Corin Brown ran for 1 touchdown and Anthony Momodu ran for 2 toucdowns. Jacob Porter led the offense with great leadership. Garret Fresche, Bryan Fresche, Moises Cabrera, and Ryan Sanders play great at wide receiver. Nick Cerreta had great blocking from the slot position. Great blocking from the offensive line by Tquan Diggs, Robbie Owens, Ray Bernott, Chandler Colon, Addison Walker, and Shane Kordalski. The defense pitched a shutout with strong performances by Addison Walker, Chandler Colon, Alex Nasser, Harry Irvine, Keaton Simmons, Anthony Momadu, Moisies Cabrera, Darien Malden, and Nick Cerrata. Nick Cerreta and Moises Cabrera both had key interceptions that helped preserve the shutout. Congratulations Hawks on your undefeated and championship season.
On behalf of the coaching staff I want to thank Mr. Ballas and the band for coming out to the game and performing great, Ms. Schumacher for the wonderful cheers she led, the cheerleaders for their cheers and push-ups, all administration for your support, all the parents for your support, and all staff who attended last nights game. Last night was a great atmosphere for the players and the school.

Congratulations to the Hawks...they have improved their record to 5-0 by defeating Stonewall Middle School 24-6. The Hawks held Stonewall scoreless until the last play of the game. The defense played together and explosive with great individual performances by Chandler Colon, Corin Brown, Tquan Diggs, Harry Irvine, Alex Nasser, Arthur Phillips, and Nick Cerreta. The offense moved the ball throughout the game. Keaton Simmons ran for 2 touchdowns. Jacob Porter ran for one touchdown and played a great game at quarterback. Anthony Momadu and Corin Brown led the way with powerful running. Great blocking by tight end Robbie Owens helped Simmons find lanes to run in that led to the touchdowns. Please come join us next Thursday November 3rd for our last game against Marsteller Middle School. The game will be at Patriot High School under the lights at 6:00pm. Congratulations! The Hawks are now 4-0! Gainesville defeated a very tough and undefeated team in Metz 24-14. The offense played very well moving the ball throughout the game. Chandler Colon, Ray Bernott, Addison Walker, Shane Kordalski, Robbie Owens Ryan Sanders, and Tquan Diggs led excellent blocking. Keaton Simmons scored 3 touchdowns with great explosive runs. Jacob Porter had a great game at quarterback taking command and showing excellent leadership skills in leading the offense. Porter also threw the ball very well to Robbie Owens, Corin Brown, and Keaton Simmons.
Defense played very well limiting Metz to 14 points. The Hawks contained an excellent running back and limited his ability with great tackling and teamwork. Chandler Colon, Corin Brown, Harry Irvine, Alex Nasser, Derian Malden Tquan Diggs, Jonathon Christian, Anthony Momodu, and Addison Walker all played well. Congratulations to the Hawks on their 20-8 win over Parkside Middle yesterday. The win improved our record to 3-0. Keaton Simmons ran for 3 toucdowns and had over 100 yards rushing. The Hawks were able to overcome several mental errors to pull out the victory against a Parkside team that showed no quit. The defense played well, with strong performances by Corin Brown, Addison Walker Moises Cabrera, and Suki Kalsi.

The Hawks improved their record to 2-0 yesterday defeating Bull Run Middle School. The offense was led by Keaton Simmons 2 touchdowns and the powerful running of Anthony Momodu. After trialing 14-8 in the 4th quarter Simmons ran for a 30 yard touchdown to tie the game. Momodu converted the two point conversion to give the Hawks the lead for good. The defense played strong stopping the Eagles on their last drive. Chandler Colon, Nick Cerrata, Addison Walker and Justin Wayland had great individual performances. The blocking was led by Robbie Owens, Tquan Diggs, Ray Bernott, Chandler Colon, Addison Walker, and Shane Kordalski. Great job HAWKS! The Hawks had a thrilling come from behind victory against Rippon Middle on Friday. Trailing 12-6 at halftime the defense came out strong, shutting out the powerful running attack. The offense came together scoring the winning toucdown with 29 seconds left in the game. Leading the way in rushing was Keaton Simmons and Anthony Momodu. Anthony Momodu scored the winning touchdown to seal the victory for the Hawks. Great blocking was displayed by Chandler Colon, Ray Bernott, and Tquan Diggs. The defense was led by Moises Cabrera whose interception set up the game winning drive. Addison Walker shut down all attempts to run his way and Justin Wayland had numerous tackles. Overall it was a great team effort! Great job Hawks. Please come out and support the Hawks as they open conference play at home against Bull Run on Thursday October 7th at 4:45.
